As the hype for Marc Webb's 'The Amazing Spider Man' mounts, two new posters have just been released, the first to demonstrate Spider Man in action across New York.
This first poster is a satisfying action shot - less of a teaser poster than most of the ones seen so far. The clear distinction between this and Raimi's Spider Man trilogy can be seen here as well - it has a more dynamic and cartoon like aesthetic, and the blue colour palette suggests a cooler and perhaps slightly darker atmosphere.
The second goes further to present a darker atmosphere - Spider Man hangs his head after what would appear to have been a fight - notice the scars across his body. It's a nice touch that it also gives the appearence of him being tangled in his own web - the newest Japanese trailer suggested corresponding motifs in the film.
With every new bit of news, 'The Amazing Spider Man' is generating even more hype - released nationwide July 3rd, it's almost guaranteed to be one of the biggest films of the summer.
